The plant
What the work looks like.
Sizing creels, looms running to construction, finishing lines, the bale store, and dispatch.
Weaving Looms on the floor
Warp drawn through the heddles, cloth taking up on the roll. Ends, picks, reed and width are fixed per order.
Sizing The warping creel
Hundreds of cones feeding individual ends toward the beam. Every beam is booked against its yarn lot before it leaves.
Yarn Winding frames
Yarn packages built for the creel. Count, lot and supplier are recorded at intake.
Weaving Wide-width loom
Shuttleless, running to construction. Cuts are booked back against the beam they came from.
Weaving At the loom frame
A working unit, not a showroom. Pinch points marked, guards on, running production.
Grey Grey fabric store
Loom-state cloth, measured and graded for cuts and lumps before it goes anywhere near a processor.
Quality Inspection
Checked at grey, where a fault still costs a fraction of what it costs after dyeing.
Processing Finishing line
Dyeing and finishing through our processors. Processor, shade and lot stay recorded against the same chain.
Processing Plant floor
We work across a network of units rather than one shed — which is what lets us take a short run and a volume order in the same week.
Bale packing The bale store
Folded, pressed, marked. Ninety-nine percent of what leaves here leaves as a bale.
Dispatch Store and racking
Bales held against their marks until the consignment goes out.
Dispatch Loading bay
Out through our transporters and agents — domestic against GST, exports on their own documentation.
Placeholder photography. Every frame here is licensed stock chosen to depict the correct process step — none of it is Vijay Corporation's own plant. Real photographs of the company's looms, creels and bale store will do more for this page than any of it. See IMAGE-CREDITS.md.

Best judged in person.
Photographs only go so far. If you are considering placing an order, come and watch the looms run.
